The establishment of a Centre as a separate legal entity provides for a clearly identifiable institution based on a defined constitution (the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company), and a defined management structure for its operation. At the same time, the establishment of this Centre creates a vehicle that could provide services to other jurisdictions should these be interested and able to pay for them. The primary objective of the Centre will however remain provision of services to the three founding Overseas Territories.

The services of the Centre are supplemented by technical assistance from appropriately qualified lawyer(s) experienced in law revision. These would be the Law Revision Consultants who will work in close consultation with each Territory’s Attorney General, the designated Law Revision Commissioner for the Territory.

The Regional Law Revision Centre is located in Anguilla. The Centre is established as a separate legal entity as a company limited by guarantee. The directors of the Centre are the Attorneys General of the Overseas Territories of Anguilla, Montserrat, Turks and Caicos Islands and The British Virgin Islands.
